  • What a legendary actor!!!

  • He looks good for almost 73 - he is an amazing actor I personally think he can do any roll he is so good my fav part of him is cussing lol 😂 👏🏻

  • Another Stilted interview

  • James Pickens is the guy that kept mouthing off at the mouth in the movie "Menace 2 Society" that Samuel L Jackson shot and killed.

  • Wasn't Samuel Jackson a crackhead?

  • This world is crazy. Sj is turning into too short.

  • Nick Fury and Deadpool part Deux!

  • I was hoping we could've gotten a movie starring Denzel, Sam, Morgan, Sidney, Wesley & Chadwick

    • Will Smith : Am I chopped liver ? Forest Whittaker just entered the chat.

  • Samuel L. Jackson! Since the beginning... Everything you even breath on is a quality production. Aww man... No adequate words to describe my admiration!!!

  • THE MERCENARY starring a former FRENCH FOREIGN LEGION SNIPER now on Amazon prime ...................

  • Wow! I just learned something new. I had no idea John David WASHINGTON was Denzel's kid! I liked him before, but now I like him even more! haha

  • Breaking bad villains were amazing. John Carlos episito being the break out.

  • Hey, now I want the in-flight demonstration!

  • "He took it to heart!" That's a good sign. We always tell them these thing, you have to read these books, and take these classes. This is a really good school, but you have to get over the "Do you know who my father is?" Yeah, but you're not going to learn who You are living in his shadow like that. Angelina Jolie Voight didn't get where she is today because she looks like John Voight. She's also very talented, but she has some natural talents that Jon Voight didn't. You see that, right? Okay, when you're a young black man, in Hollywood, you can't depend on looking like Angelina Jolie. Denzel is a pretty good looking guy, but he payed his dues.

  • This man is not an actor. He is always himself like Denzel. They are just like that... you can't put a measure on their goodness

    • Have you seen Denzel Washington in Training Days? Definitely not himself on that movie. THAT was acting.

    • Being an actor isn't just playing a particular person, though. If you do it right, you forget that's Bruce Willis, even if he's still playing Bruce Willis. The difference between John McClain and Jimmy Tudeski is he's a particular person in a particular Situation. John McLain looks a little out of place checking the mail in his suburban Canada retirement home, and Jimmy Tudeski looks a little out of place swinging barefoot from the side of a building by a fire-hose. (Even though both of them could survive a train wreck without a scratch.) Sam. L. Jackson can pull off "Snakes on a Plane."

  • how many times you think he deliberately screwed up that scene just so he could kiss Salma Hayek again?

  • Yesss I can't wait for this sequel! The 1st was soooo funny n great❣️❣️❣️

  • 👏👏👏💖💖💖

  • this was a great interview ! its so great to hear about how these actors encourage each other throughout their lives

  • The "hospital show" that Sam is referencing is *Grey's Anatomy* which believe it or not has been on the air since 2005. That is a very long run. And on a completely different topic: Salma Hayek is still gorgeous. omg.

  • Too funny! Loved the first movie.

  • Must have been rough being groomed to be an actor from childhood having famous parents. Sounds like a real relatable story. Quick, remind me who enjoys the story of privilege having luxury being molded by wealth to endure the education of comprehending acting on feigning emotions with conviction. Bravo.

  • Pudd Maar Likesme

  • There is a person getting up from a seated position at the end of the clip, and it's not Ryan, Salma or Samuel... Who is it?

  • The glib broccoli medicinally yawn because architecture surprisingly kiss despite a ablaze bike. conscious, gabby secure

  • Did Stephen not know the hospital show nor the that Sam was in the Hitmans bodyguard lmao

    • He knew, but it was a weak joke segueing to the trailer. As for the name of the "hospital show": • He had a "senior moment" and went blank • He thought of "General Hospital" & knew that wasn't right OR • He was thinking about the next question he was going to ask & wasn't prepared for the impromptu question. Or maybe he was just being nice and didn't want to sound like a wisenheimer. He

  • Met Sam outside a restaurant in Santa Monica while we were each taking a cigarette break during a mutual friend's b'day party. Absolutely one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! He's another Southern fella...got started doing commercials out of Memphis, TN, including one for Krystal Hamburgers.

    • And who could forget his very small but very memorable part as the hold-up man in the classic *Coming To America.*

  • The show is Grey’s anatomy

  • 😆🙌🏾 I LOVED THMBG and I can’t WAIT to see SH kick some ass! She was GREAT in the first one, I almost spit out my drink the first time they showed her cell mate. lmao

  • Samuel L Jackson is such a prolific actor that I wonder what the average person knows him most for. Smaller but popular roles like Agent Fury, in the MCU or bigger but older roles like Jules in Pulp Fiction.

  • Hospital show... Greys Anatomy? Lol

  • MACE WINDU MUST COME BACK

  • 💜2021✨Amén pasa la Palabra #MillenniumLanceAndTheOpenScroll 🌹 Daniel 11-12 Apocalipsis 20-21 manteniendo la Fe........ 💜😎

  • 💜2021✨Amen pass the Word #MillenniumLanceAndTheOpenScroll 🌹 Daniel 11-12 Revelation 20-21 keeping the Faith........ 💜😎

  • Uuhh, did anyone see the crew member in the shot at the end?

  • Nice CGI work on Samuel! 👍 Real Sam is enjoying a freshly painted room in Gitmo for Crimes Against Humanity.

  • One of my favorite actors of all time! Thanks, Mr. Jackson.

  • I love Samuel L, and I cannot wait for sequel of the Hitman's Body Guard!

  • I said goddamn!

  • Black accomplishment and intellect here, folks. But, you know, it's always been that way. Lookup Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie and Ray Brown and John Coltrane and Nathan East and others. Negro talent has not only existed for every year on every calendar; it has been appreciated by American humans for almost as long. Lookup the history of Oberlin College. Lookup the Underground Railroad, and then try to have pity for a rich black athlete trying to say we are suppressed. Samuel is exemplary of what has always been in play: competence and acceptance.

  • Steve, you are an empty talking head. You should just say "Sam, say what you like." Your show is equally biased and ignorant via your agenda.

  • Giancarlo will always be buggin out

  • Can’t wait for the autobiography

  • I’m realizing more and more that Colbert isn’t that great of an interviewer

    • depends on if it's just some bland run-of-the-mill celebrity interview or if he's actually interested.

  • So kind of Mr. Jackson to help out Mint Mobile guy buy letting him act in a movie. What a humanitarian!

  • The abiding silver conjecturally kiss because comfort virtually satisfy times a black coat. public, gray greasy great conifer

  • love SAMUEL

    • @Samuel Jackson Your reply to me is meaningful and delightful! Thank you.

    • Love you too sweetie 😘❤️😘❤️.. thank you so very much for your unswerving love and support..

  • Me seeing this clip from The hitmans bodyguard just makes me think Ryan should be in the Deadpool costume for this XD

  • He idolizes that smooth talking hip and handsome tool, Lawence Fishburn.

  • Drinking game!!! Everytime Steven says Samuel L. Jackson take a drink!!!

  • Can we see an Ed Sullivan theatre bubble boy version, as an intermediate return to normal skit where Stephen the band and guests are quarantined in their own bubbles? Just like walled clear vinyl dividers.

  • We love you Uncle Sam 🌹

  • SLJ the man who had the guts to wear a kilt when he came to Scotland! Kudos!!!

  • I loved "The Hitman's Bodyguard " Salma cussing like a sailor. Sexy.

  • Samuel L. Jackson is the Man! Looking forward to this sequel.

  • Black Snake Moan, very powerful.

  • Thanks, Mr. Jackson, for your great and growing body of work.

  • Pssssssst Sam, Grey’s Anatomy!! James Pickens is brilliant!! As are ALL of you!!♥️

  • Does Ryan have 20/21 hearing now?

  • Pretty sure the 17 people who thumbs downed also hate puppies and sunsets.

    • It was 16 mothers and 1 apple pie.

  • Great actor!

  • 3 guys in a weeds shop bragged about getting the shot, 1 said i got phiser and another said i got medurna and the 3rd one sat with 2 joints in his mouth saying i got a j & j and i am smoking them now

  • The defeated voice karunagappally back because badger jelly smash past a absorbed sycamore. hateful, decorous arm

  • Calm interview filled with wisdom. Love to see it

  • sorry, no way that man is 72 ... he's only 50 ... i mean, look at him ...

  • hit mans body guard was pretty good.

  • Long Kiss Goodnight is excellent! So much fun!

  • *I've been mispronouncing Bret "The Hitman" Hart's name this whole time...* @5:18 🤯

  • HItman's Bodyguard perhaps my favorite comedy of last handful of years. very pleased to see a sequel! they should do one where the guys have to save Salma Hayek, but it turns around and she has to save them and takes all the bad guys down all by herself. then, smj turns to rr and says, "that's why i love her."

  • Stephen, you haven't seen The Hitman's Bodyguard???? Jeezus, you're missing out.

  • Grey's Anatomy is the Shondaland show

  • 5:15 better edit out the sound guy

    • He’s the dead bad guys who’s not quite dead yet.

  • He can't recall Grey's Anatomy 🤣

    • I just call it "THE SAD." Whenever I have seen a member of my family watching that god-forsaken show, something absolutely horrific is happening. One time? There was a gunman in the hospital murdering people! What the FUCK? I overhear them talking about the show and it's always the most depressing stuff ever! Why?!

  • What's in your wallet....💰💰💰

  • Wait... Are audience coming back into the studio next week?😲

    • yes, it's over.😔 the intimacy, the giggles and kirk outs.🤪 i'll tune in just to see if i feel the same. just can't say...😐✌😎

  • Not convinced with John D Washington yet.. Malcolm and Marie was terrible, he was good in Tenet but still overshadowed by Rob Pattinson who had about 25 minutes screen time

    • I've only seen him in Tenet and he seemed so out of place. Not sure if it was his acting style or direction from the director, but it was almost painful to watch his scenes. The only scene I liked him in is when he is first seen in the van, and he has no lines! I wish the whole movie had more of Rob Pattinson, who seemed to slip into that role easily. (I've only seen Rob Pattinson as Cedric, as a glittery vampire, and most recently Good Time, which was good but I don't think it's the kind of movie you can keep rewatching.) I wish the director went with a different lead, and we can only speculate that JDW got that movie because of his connections. Otherwise I thought the movie was fantastic! JDW just sorts of brings it down for me.

  • Long Kiss Goodnight is one of my faves too. Suspense and hilarity too.

  • Let’s glorify gun violence and then protest against it!!! #usaisfucked

  • Language does not have sufficient superlatives for Mr. Jackson… SLJ stands among the giants… thank you Mr. Jackson… best wishes, health, joy and wellbeing… may your wallet continue to overflow.

    • Speaking of giants, the land poachers and trees thieves are logging off 400 year old growth Sitka Spruce to build rich prick cribs in SW WA. Killer Hornets! Earth First! We will log off the other planets later!

    • I want fat wallet

  • Awesome, sounds like a great movie, can't wait!

  • Why is there some dude popping up from the bottom left in the trailer scene at 5:15 ? :-D

    • It's one of the "dead guys" that was not quite dead - you can see Bryce reaching for his own gun to finish him

  • So love this movie💖

  • The Hitmans Bodyguard is great, can't wait for this sequel!

  • Have LOVED Giancarlo Esposito since Homicide: Life on the Street when he portrayed Mike Giardello.

    • @Rose Justice One of the best cop shows EVER!

    • @Rose Justice yeah I've read about it before. Mainly because of Belzer 😂 had to understand Munch from SVU's story, which meant some time spent on Wiki saying "what? That's pretty crazy" 🤣

    • @Skankhunt42 It was on from 93-99. Amazing cast - Andre Braugher, Richard Belzer, Yaphet Kotto, Melissa Leo just to name a few. I know it was based upon a book (Copied from IMDb - In 1988, a Baltimore Sun reporter named David Simon joined the Baltimore Police Homicide Unit as a civilian assistant, in order to chronicle a year in the life of a big city homicide squad. His extensive notes, interviews, and observations were eventually published as the book, "Homicide: A Year On The Killing Streets." This book served as the inspiration for the TV series Homicide: Life on the Street (1993). Much of the first and second seasons are taken from actual events recounted in the book.) The Wire was also created by David Simon but that didn’t start til 2002-2008, another brilliant show.

    • Isn't that the show the Wire was kinda based on? It's from like 1990 or something right? Wow. It'd be weird for me to see Gus Fring that young 😂

  • Thats an interesting green screen picture he used lol

    • He’s on a set for a movie he’s working on.

  • Did y’all see that man rise at 5:15?

    • Yeah it's one of the "dead guys" that was not quite dead - you can see Bryce reaching for his own gun to finish him

  • And it shows…the love, hardwork and advice shows in John David’s works👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.

  • Jaden Smith take note :-)

    • He’s off in cloud city. Probably no coming back for those kids.

  • NOAA 11521

  • Sam meffing jackson

  • 🧡

  • When is Sam doing a deadpool movie with Ryan

    • Oh man please let that happen..they need the help

    • As soon as the MCU gets off its ass.

  • Nowhere was Spike Lee mentioned on the early career! Wow😢 A full fledge slap in the (you know what, and the face)! Do Tha Right Thing above all others! Above The Rim! Juice!?!!!!!

    • Spike Lee is not dead!

    • RIP SPIKE LEE...SHOWCASED LOTS OF EARLY BLACK TALENT....🙏

    • He had limited time for his interview was he supposed to mention every single person who ever helped him? He didn’t mention any women, either. Should we destroy his career for one silly interview or notice that he spent a great amount of time discussing who (and how) he was giving a hand up to?

    • I know right that was atrocious, let's cancel him🙄🙄🙄

    • I mean he was only talking about actors, not the directors or producers, it was a question about actors.

  • nxl vur.fyi

  • Why is your show the last one to figure out how to bring in an audience?

    • @debbiedoodiedandi 🍾🍾🍾🍾

    • @Mellow Demon added bonus - Jon Stewart will be his first guest next week!

    • @debbiedoodiedandi cool! my man Stephen needs to get out of his chair and hit the gym 🤍

    • It's not. They'll be back in their theater with a full vaccinated audience starting Monday. They were supposed to be the first ones back with a full audience, but Fallon beat him to it.

  • Here’s a thought: Get all 3 of them in a movie together!

  • :D

  • What's y'all favorite film from Samuel l Jackson

  • “Hitman mutha****a!!”
