  • Too bad it's only on Apple TV. Won't ever get to watch it, probably. There are too many platforms out there. It's stupid.

  • The first film I ever saw with him was The Croupier and I was sold. Loved him ever since.

  • He's gonna be awesome on American Crime Story season 3

  • Children of Men is a phenomenal film🔥

  • The knick is absolutely amazing. It is now on HBO Max, I strongly recommend that everyone check it out

  • ✨✌️😍✌️✨

  • I kept thinking of Children of Men lately and then I saw this and was like…😳 They’re in a movie together again!

  • @the late show with stephen colbert : you should invite Stephen King for an interview ;) (It was an interesting interview anyway ^^)

  • What a gripping clip! I have to see this

  • can clive do a southern accent?

  • Clive is awesome actor!!!

  • I'm watching this only because of Karl Pilkington and I never knew what clive warren looked like. Clive owen. Owen.

  • The Knick was one of the best TV series of the 2000s

  • Anyone else notice the audio panned hard left at 0:57 ? 😶

  • And my favorite movie of his: Green Fingers

  • ‘Children of Men’ is one of the greatest films EVER. Fabulous actor.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏾

  • Oh shit. Looking at Clive Owen, I realise how much I have aged.

  • Shoot em up is probably one of the best action movies out there😄

  • His left nostril does an Elvis lip curl.

  • Clive Warren!

  • Clive Owen is a wonderfully nuanced actor. So many great performances.

  • His face has changed so much. What is going on?

  • And none of you are mentioning Shoot Em Up?

  • i like all movies Clive has been in! cool guy

  • The uneven environment extragingivally tug because niece interstingly trap toward a measly syrup. able, sneaky thunderstorm

  • Did anyone else notice how he was bouncing? Bet he was swinging his leg or something. Nervous or hyper? Love him. In Gosford Park, Bourne... everything.

    • the new miniseries lisey's story the new miniseries

  • Inside man?

  • My 2 favorite Clive Owen movies are King Arthur and Last Knights.

    • Have you seen Closer or Gosford Park? Children of Men?

  • He has some white teeth.

  • I always liked him and enjoyed him as an actor but now I like him as a man, husband and father. Very endearing interview.

  • I loved Mr. Owen in Second Sight, and really, everything else. A class act, in every way.

    • Second Sight was my first thought, as well. Watching that mini-series, you just knew he was something special. Must revisit it soon. Cheers

  • omg he looks much older 😳 that hair color...😔

  • Get me Clive Warren!

  • My right ear is lonely

  • Should be the next Bond.

  • Explain to me again why Clive Owen wasn't/ isn't 007?!

  • Why wasn't he been James Bond?! He would have been perfect for it.

  • Bit like Children of Men

  • Clive is morphing into Pete Postlethwaite!

  • anyone having sound problems?

  • Ohhhhhh, Lisey's Story is my faaavorite King story. This series looks utterly incredible 🤩

  • I even liked him in that *terrible* King Arthur movie years ago. But what happened to the right audio channel?

  • totally agree he would make a great james bond. i really enjoyed him in children of men.

  • Love that accent!

  • he looks more Asian with every single year pass.

    • @Tammy Stockley-loughlin "Epicanthic folds also occur, at a considerably lower frequency, in other populations: Europeans (e.g., Scandinavians, English, Irish,[15] Hungarians, Russians, Poles, Lithuanians, Latvians, Finns, Estonians and Samis)" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicanthic_fold#Ethnogeographic_distribution

    • Until you said it, I didn't see it. Now...I think he's got a great, great grand, who was. Positive vibes from New Hampshire and remember to be kind to each other and yourself during this pandemic and social crisis

  • Who knew Clive Owen and Pete Postlethwaite are actually the same person.

    • God yeah. So what did postlewaithe look like when younger. Time to hit google

    • @Ryan Clark Great minds!!!! 🧑🏼‍🎓

    • Looked for this comment, or else I’d have had to post it myself. Glad I’m not alone on this! :)

  • Does anybody know when the movie a quiet place will be on Netflix?

  • Only real ones know him since the BMW's short stories.

  • He was superb in Gosford Park!

  • King Arthur!

  • I was hoping for two segments. LOL. I love this actor, very underrated. A few years ago I thought he would have been a great James Bond.

    • @Gabi Douglas 🤝👏🙏🤝

    • Agreed! 2 segments would have been great!!

    • @Serendipity Shop okay cool. That’s sensible

    • I seem to recall they seriously considered him as Bond, but he didn't want to get typecast.

    • I just posted that! Absolutely agree.

  • *Clive Warren If you know, you know.

  • Clive Warren is looking good

  • I suspect Julianne shared the technique of absorbing the essence of youth from extras.... 🤔

  • ...Morrissey?

  • My rule about Stephen King's movies. If he has any hand in production I'm out. But even then Stephen King the majority of the movies just have lame story endings.

    • @benny_lemon Ha, Good one!

    • I dunno, I kinda love watching SK movies if I've read the book, trying to wager on what tom-foolery the ending will have lol. If anyone here hasn't read the book, I *urge* you to at some point. It's my favourite of his.

    • @Othoap Proto Maybe, but the one I'm talking about is from 2007. Frank Darabont script/direction, Tom Jane and Marcia Gay Harden as two of the leads. Can't recommend it enough; but wouldn't watch before a social gathering. One of those films that needs a sleep to help reset your emotions haha

    • @Ian W Thanks for the tip, I've seen it on Netflix but have avoided it due to my earler statements. Didn't they make the mist in the 90's?

    • If you haven't yet, you have to watch The Mist. Go in as cold as you can - one of the most effective and dark horror stories I've seen, and they changed the ending from what King had. He's on record as saying he wished he'd thought of it, it's so chilling and effective.

  • Clive hasn't aged Well.

  • He should do ASMR-just in case this whole acting thing doesn’t work out.

    • @Neil Deep it...it was a joke...lmao

    • are you kidding me? you never seen The International??? Inside Man w/ Denzel? King Arthur?

  • I know him from Gosford Park. Despite the amazing talent in that film, he really stood out IMO.

    • Gosford Park got me interested, but he really nailed it out of the ball park in Closer. The man is such a phenomenal talent.

  • Another great actor from Great Britain 🇬🇧.

  • He killed it in The International as well! Really like seeing him. Too bad this series is in Craple+

  • What's with the mono sound track?

  • A little too much caffeine Clive? Lol

    • He seems twitchy, yes. Hopefully it's just that and nothing like parkinsons or something.

  • My relative, but he doesn't know it.

  • Dis Elvis ?

  • I wish they would have cast him as Max Payne.

    • the movie adaptation was terribly written, there was no saving it

  • Great actor. But he looks weirdly de-aged here

    • The tan helps tremendously

  • S. KING. REPRESENT MAINE

  • I really like Clive Owen. Watched him in Chancer decades ago (if you haven't seen it, search it out), and he was gracious enough to give Matt Damon an acting masterclass halfway through The Bourne Identity.

    • That scene out in the field... "Look at what they make you give..." Man, now I want to re-watch this movie

  • Audio is left only :D Make it mono at least

    • It was like this on the original broadcast. They must just be “phoning it in” for these last three episodes. ;)

    • @unichan5 whew

    • It becomes stereo again mid-way through 😌

  • Shoot 'em up!! Bang- bang!!!

    • @Alethea B lol. Bang, crunch!!

    • Thank you. I’m sitting here banging my head trying to remember “the one with the carrot”!!!!

  • nobody mentions no sound from 0:58 to 3:27 ?!

    • Use other ear

    • no sound problems for me.

  • "Allo allo allo, I'm Clive Owen" -- Stuart Wellington (everyone listen to The Flop House podcast to get a chance to listen to a fun dude make an intentionally bad impression, promise it's worthwhile).

  • Clive Warren!

    • Haha, Carl Pirlkington deep cut, nice 😄

  • One of the most underated actors of his generation.

    • ✅✌

    • @Richard Sherburne Underrated Weekly

    • Why is everyone described as "underrated" on UZfire? Who is doing these ratings?

    • You're not wrong! He's always been one of the greats! ❤️

    • Agreed. I first saw him back in 2001 in a series of short films for BMW-each directed by a famous filmmaker-where he plays a getaway driver. Then he blew me away in Children of Men. He’s fantastic.

  • Children of Men is a great film.

  • Good bloke. Straight up good guy

  • Still remember him from Chancer, the 80’s TV series. He’s hardly aged!

    • @Thijs Bergman Maybe his tan/white shirt is making them pop more

    • @Gavin Hart Aged

    • @Thijs Bergman hows his hair fucked? Hahaha

    • @Thijs Bergman That's a good thing, be wary of people that are too good at taking selfies.

    • @nadia mccall It's liked Harrison Ford - I wouldn't like him as much if he had a nose job, it makes his characters real. As if Han Solo would have rhinoplasty.

  • Why did the audio switch to mono left channel only at 1:00

    • Yes! It lasts until 3:28

    • I really appreciate this comment, because I've been having speaker problems, so this helps me worry less about that (for now).

    • @Jonathan Gan same with me, I thought my earplugs needed to be tossed away but luckily I watched another video before doing so 🤣

    • That made me fiddle with my earphones, I thought something on my end had broken.

  • Been an fan since "wing commander" game

    • Wow, nice deep cut! I totally forgot he was in that

  • he should have been James Bond. Also Colin Salmon

    • @ACuriousTanuki I think he's one of those actors who doesn't stretch to fit a role, but he excels when he's playing a character that suits him. An example would be Children Of Men. A slightly scruffy, world-weary type.

    • _The International_ was a fairly Bond-adjacent film. Haven't seen it in a long time, but I remember enjoying his performance even if the script wasn't particularly stand-out.

    • @🍯 blood honey I agree, he could play Bond. It's not that demanding a role. (Except physically!) Owen is fully capable of being a cool, professional agent. Doesn't really have the upper class accent (I don't think I've ever seen him in a role where he doesn't just use his regular voice), but that seems to be less of a priority these days. I remember seeing him in King Arthur, and his modern accent was quite anachronistic, and Ioan Gruffud as Lancelot frankly blew his performance out of the water!

    • @Neil Deep Croupier (1998) is the movie that had them considering him as Bond. I think he'd have made a good choice.

    • Meh, #ScriptIsKing not the person. Just cuz he played sa scary Treadstone assassin in Bourne doesn't mean he'd be charming as Bond. I dont like doing this but consider Richard Madden or even Tom Hiddleston.. they got more charisma. & Madden is just a gorgeous greed god.

  • b38 vur.fyi

  • Pandemic introduced me to Clive Owen in Croupier film and The Knick TV show... and I gotta say that's a positive

    • Children of men is the one to watch, masterpiece

    • He was a lot of fun in the instant classic Shoot 'Em Up, also.

  • I highly recommend everyone watch the BMW Short Films series with Clive Owen. Absolutely brilliant!

    • I used to have the DVD the Madonna segment was hilarious.

    • Thanks, never heard of this!!!

    • @Ragglock thanks, never heard of this!

    • Oh man... "Star" is hilarious!!

    • They still on yt and high recommended some of the best action directors made those...

  • Yay+

  • First like bustin a girls cherry 🍒

    • @Tammy Stockley-loughlin meh, marriage is a social construct meant for you to tie yourself to a person for 3 miserable decades.

    • @Rheki if he is...he hasn't grown as a human in 30+years...ironically my drunken brother in law was bragging about the women who he had sex with earlier tonight...I personality don't put much thought to the lovers of days past. Instead I interact with my spouse of more than 3 decades and enjoy the present.

    • @Brittany Wedd it actually is... have you forgotten your first time already?

    • @nadia mccall lol ty :)

    • @Tammy Stockley-loughlin meh, you're not the first to tell me this so yiu can't "bust my cherry" on this. However, if I my play the devils advocate... I'm 110% sure the guy that busted your cherry is bragging about it to his friends.
